When i got married a couple of years ago, i searched and searched for that perfect fairy/medieval style dress for my garden wedding…i ended up getting it made as there really wasn’t anything off the rack that was suited.
If you don’t want to have a dress tailor made and are looking for an affordable alternative try Enchanted Emerald Forest Designs. They have a lovely range of wedding accessories, most with a medieval/fairy feel to them. They also have fashions for your bridesmaids, flower-girls, there’s even a few items for your groom.
Definitely worth a look if your planning an enchanting fairy wedding.

Even though i only started ‘Enchanted by Fae’ a little while ago, i have already come across so many wonderful Aussie faery/fantasy artists, and Susan Rodio is definitely one of them!
Her work is so enchanting and feminine with beautiful colours and detail.
From Susan’s website:
“I love creating art that sparks the imagination and bringing through something magical, mystical and spiritual. “
For more information on Susan’s beautiful art and to purchase prints, please visit: Art Wanted.

I was very excited when i discovered this website.
Lately I have been thinking about the fact that Australia doesn’t really have any faery/fantasy festivals or events as they do in the US & UK…then i discovered ‘Enchanted Australia Castle’.
From their website:
We are currently looking for finance to build a 100 acre castle and 30 unit motel in rural NSW Australia shortly, which will be 100% family orientated and based on good moral principles. Our business is going through major changes and will soon be registered as Enchanted Australia Castle.
Most of our merchandise will be 100% Australian made, Australian owned – from Aussie souvenirs to fashions to snacks, clothing, award winning chocolates and much more in the theme of fantasy, Renaissance, Australiana.
Please click the banner above to visit the castle’s website and read/comment in their blog – this will be wonderful for all faery/fantasy fans in Australia.

Brian Froud is probably one of the worlds most well known faery artists.
He worked as a puppet designer on the classic 80’s movie Labyrinth and, along with Alan Lee, created the bestselling FAERIES in 1978. Since then, Brian Froud has produced many more books and worked on many wonderful projects.
Visit the World of Froud website for more information.
